Which Mani Matches Your Holiday Destination?

Holiday Destination Mani

Holiday season is in full swing, and if there’s one time of the year when it’s totally important what colour nail varnish you go for, it’s now! From ocean-inspired blues, to sandy nudes and sunny yellows, we’ve got you covered. We’ve put together a little list of our go-to destinations, and how to hit them in style.

Mykonos Blue

Mykonos

We’re sure that you’ve all seen the most instagrammable island in the world all over your feed this summer, so if you’re one of the lucky ones that’s taking a trip to the cobbled Grecian streets of Mykonos, its time to hit the blues.

Go for a bold cerulean blue like OPI’s Fearlessly Alice or calm, light hues similar to high street brand Cuccio’s Meet Me In Mykonos (the hint is in the name guys!).

Where to go: Head to lunch to the famous Nammos, where each dish pays homage to the treasures of the sea. A popular hangout for Victoria’s secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, this restaurant can be described as a ‘love at first bite’ experience. For the best view of the sunset on the island, enjoy Scorpio’s beach bar and restaurant. Ideal for eating fresh Mediterranean style food, and partying in to the early hours of the morning.

Ibiza Bolds

Ibiza

Think bolds, bright, and neon’s. Famous for its party scene, Ibizan summers push boundaries. There’s no need to blend in on the island, so let your nails do the talking with colours like Essie’s Tangerine, a fresh and vivid citrus-y red with an orange pop. We’re also into OPI’S sunny yellow, I Just Cant Cope.

Where to go: Spend your days lounging on the beach at Beach House in Playa d’en Bossa for Italian style cuisine, then hit Experimential Beach Ibiza later for cocktails and tapas. The club also holds a clothing & accessories boutique from June-September (cherry on top of the cake, right!?).

St Tropez Passion

St Tropez

A chic spot for gorgeous people, clothes, and cuisine, St-Tropez reputation remains undimmed. The place screams desire and what better way to hit the French Riviera this summer than with a perfectly preened red manicure. You’ll never go wrong with a classic red and our pick is Dior’s 999 Rouge. It’s gel-effect will leave your nails looking super-smooth and shiny.

Where to go: Le Club 55 is not one to be missed (celeb spotting central!). Also, perfect for late night dinner, Alan Ducasse recently opened the doors to Rivea at the Byblos Hotel, where the combination of French and Italian cultures expressed in the kitchen are found in the interior and exteriors of the restaurant. Definitely a hotspot of the summer that oozes glamour.

Simply Capri

Capri

Capri is certainly one holiday destination to tick off the bucket list. Its cove-studded coastline draws in the likes of many yachts and A-listers. Home to the most beautiful scenery and delicious food, we’re urging you to go for simplicity. Dior’s Optic White from the new-generation Dior Vernis collection adds a touch of elegance to any look, especially paired with an oversized straw hat and HUGE sunnies. Bridget Bardot eat your heart out!

Where to go: Spend some time hanging at the beautiful Aurora  – prepare to be surrounded by glitz, glamour and the best food. For a scene to make anyone Instagram envious, Capri il Riccio beach club restaurant is the one for breathtaking views and delicious fresh sea food.
